Introduction to Paper

Cinderella, a Disney fairy tale that we have all grown to know and love. But, where did this story come from? Did Walt Disney create this story on his own? No, the majority of Disney stories were folk tale told many years ago; Cinderella happened to be one of the stories recorded by the Greek historian Strabo in the first century BC. There have been many twists and turns of this story through out the many years Cinderella has been told, and the story we know today has a completely new identity. But, the question is why did this story change so dramatically over time? One reason could be due to the change of views in woman; we have come along way in the respect that woman deserve, but we are not perfect and still have a ways to go.
